CCW Receives PG&E Freightliner Contract.

Riverside, CA -Complete Coach Works announced today that they have received a contract to retrofit 38 new Freightliner M2 class truck chassis to Clean Burning Natural Gas.

The contract with Golden Gate Freightliner calls for the trucks to be converted using the John Deere 8.1 liter engine offering the lowest available emission performance, meeting 2007 Nox standards.

The trucks will be repowered and outfitted with a complete CNG fuel system and exhaust after treatment before being shipped to American Truck and Trailer Company to have a utility body, built to Pacific Gas & Electric’s specifications, installed.

This major project is a continuation of Pacific Gas and Electrics commitment to clean air vehicles and makes a major contribution to their existing fleet of over 600 natural gas powered vehicles.
