Riverside, CA-Complete Coach Works announced that they
had Completed delivery of the final bus of a thirteen bus rehab for the Town
of Chapel Hill, North Carolina.
The thirteen bus rehab of RTS buses adds capacity to the growing service needs
of the Town of Chapel Hill and aids their aggressive and innovative approach
which includes partnerships with the University, helping to provide thousands
of students a viable alternative to automobiles.
During the rehab Complete Coach Works retrofitted Detroit Diesel S 50 engines,
new Lift-U wheelchair lifts, a complete structural and cosmetic rebuild of the
bus including new stainless steel wheel wells, new marine grade plywood,
topped with the latest in transit safety flooring.
A complete undercarriage rebuild including brake, suspension and air systems
assures the Town of Chapel Hill that these buses will provide them with years
of trouble free operation.

buses when the remanufacturing process was completed and they have been very
