NorthwestTREK Wildlife Park finds newly renovated Trams at their doorstepsCOMPLETE COACH WORKS LETS IT’S EXPERIENCE GUIDE THE TRANSIT INDUSTRY TO NEW HEIGHTS FOR ALTERNATIVE FUELRIVERSIDE, CA. - Complete Coach Works is proud to announce they delivered the first two of the three Tram Renovation Project for the Northwest Trek Wildlife Park just outside of Eatonville, WA. The contract consisted of remanufacturing nearly every aspect of the over 34 year old trams used for the daily route tours around the wildlife park. The trams all have new power packs with Cummins 5.9 liter in-line 6 cylinder propane engines. In addition, every tram includes industry state of the art electrical multiplexing systems to replace the old stressed wiring system which over time became extremely unreliable. The entire process in rebuilding these trams was so extensive that the chassis remained one of the few original parts. “Complete Coach Works has really been the pioneer of remanufacturing in the transit industry. And, just as important, they produce a safer, more reliable vehicle than the original with all the years experience they have had,” said Macy Neshati, Complete Coach Works’ Vice President of Marketing and Sales. “These trams were very unique and have been in service since 1973 which is why Northwest Trek Wildlife Park decided to go with CCW to make this project a success.
